Montecillo Rioja Reserva Braised Alberta Lamb Shank on sweet potato puree & sautéed kale w/ roasted garlic.
This Spanish Rioja wine is smooth and round. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months and further bottle-aged prior to release. Montecillo Rioja Reserva pairs well with the Lamb shank braised in the wine along with cinnamon, garlic, orange peel and other herbs & spices.
